To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nike and Jordan brand, Tinker Hatfield was again tapped to design the Air Jordan Shoes XX . Hatfield’s last design was for the Air Jordan Shoes XV and has not been involve since. But it is a big celebration and he readily agreed to do the design again. Inspiration for the Air Jordan Shoes XX came from three things – expensive custom – made trumpets, motorcycle tires and racing boots. If you look closely at the mid foot strap, you will see symbols that laser expert Mark Smith designed. The symbols represent Michael Jordan’s experiences and stories. It became sort of a celebration of Michael Jordan’s life and career. Aside from the special strap, you are assured of the latest technology that Air Jordan shoes have to offer. A revolutionary cushioning technology called IPS or Independent Podular Suspension was introduced to support the foot in key areas, an internal shank plate that offers mid foot and arch support, and the Encapsulated Air unit incorporated in the pod for extra shock absorption.
